The experts of Bristol University have already developed 2 tools regarding the welfare at the pig farm.

The first tool is a free training program “EU Welnet Pig training”, developed for inspectors who carry out audits on the pig farm.

The second tool is the “AssureWel protocol”, a practical system based on the results of a welfare evaluation that can be used in quality systems for different animal species as an aid in assessing compliance with their animal welfare standards.
